Fun Pasta Nests

So I’ve been wasting a lot of my life on pinterest lately.. did I say how hopelessly ADDICTIVE it is.. like i didn’t have enough things to do with my precious time and this came along *sigh*

So I saw this uber cute pasta nest out there and it instantly made it to my “fun food” board in the hope that I’ll get to do this for the girls some day (when I stop wasting my time surfing pinterest that is )

The 5 year old saw it and screeched “WOW mama! how cuuuuuuuute!” and demanded one to be made for her right away..
Not today baby, you can have this for your Eid lunch I promised.. and so today I tried my hands at this fun reinvention of spaghetti and meatballs!

did I say the girls LOVED it! its super simple to put together too.. I would have promised its totally doable for a kid’s party till I saw the mess my little one made while trying to fit that impossibly long spaghetti in her tiny mouth! not happening in my house again till the little one is older!
